A Fabulous Experience - July 2024 Read More
A brilliant idea - a museum with an array of British cars where you can actually drive the exhibits! We had an excellent day out at Drive Dad’s Car, I selected the three car driving experience from the Classic, Premium and Luxury selection and was not disappointed. This gives you access to drive cars ranging from either end of the spectrum, I chose the Morris Marina, Vauxhall Viva and the Rolls Royce Silver Spirit (how often do you get the opportunity to step out of a Marina and into a Rolls Royce!) but there are so many other options, if you’re into British cars there’s certain to be something for your taste. I would certainly recommend this one of a kind experience, it’s sure to be a trip down memory lane if you or your dad owned one of these cars in the past!

A great place to visit! - Aug 2024 Read More
My husband & I visited with my mum & dad, we had bought Dad a 2 drive package voucher, he chose the Morris Minor Million and a Rolls Royce, he thoroughly enjoyed both. The museum is very good. The cafe was very good. All staff were friendly & helpful, a special mention for the young man who prints the souvenir photographs, he noticed that Dad had his eyes closed in the photograph with the Rolls Royce, he immediately offered to drive the car back to the photo wall and retook the picture, the 2nd attempt was a great photograph, we really appreciated him doing this. Thank you to all staff for a great visit!
Unique experience for those with memories of British cars from the 1950s to 80s - Aug 23 Read More
A great experience driving the 1972 Hillman Super Imp and the 1966 Austin Mini 850. In 1974, I passed my driving test in my Dad’s Super Imp (same turquoise colour) and the following weekend I bought my first car, an Austin Mini (same maroon colour).
So this was a great day for me, a present from my wife for my 69th birthday.
There is no experience quite like it. Do it. You won’t regret it!..

FANTASTIC - April 2024 Read More
FANTASTIC day! I mean, where else are you going to see these classics and drive them! I took three cars out, Rover, MG Montego and a Ford Granada and I was smiling throughout. The chap who sat with me was really knowledgeable about all the cars which made it even better. The museum itself was also fantastic, all the car windows of the cars open so you could savour that smell you only get in a classic. I could go on but anyway, pay them a visit, book yourself a drive in a classic and take yourself back to the good old days, no air con, no electric windows, no power steering, just pure driving
Morris mInor convertible 1957 Drive - Jul 2023 Read More
Absolutely brilliant day, I chose to drive the 1957 Morris Minor and had a fantastic time, the instructor was excellent, very patient and helpful. The museum attached has to be seen to be believed, the history of UK cars, so many memories and incredible cars. Well worth a visit. .
This is a top-quality experience; as good as any visitor attraction in the United Kingdom - May 2023 Read More
The favourite part of my visit was having the chance to drive the 1961, Sunbeam Rapier Convertible, a car that was rare and expensive at the time I started school, in 1961; only to find that it is actually easier to drive than my everyday, lumpy, 2-litre diesel Audi A4. Yet, when one pauses to consider the facts, they were both aimed at a very similar buyer. The brakes on the Sunbeam would be exceptional for that time. And, the Sunbeam's suspension would be engineered for high-speed-cornering. There were no ominous noises and no wayward wandering, so the suspension on the Sunbeam seemed to be in good condition and it dealt-with road undulations far better than my Audi S-Line would have done.

I’m a fan
I have been to this attraction on numerous occasions.
What happens is that you drive your chosen car(s) around an off-road circuit for 20 minutes with an instructor sitting next to you.
The circuit is not busy or difficult so you have plenty of room to become familiar with the vehicle. It is, however, varied with left and right turns, an optional slalom, a hill and a roundabout so there is enough opportunity to get the feel of the car. I think this is a great balance between granting us the opportunity to drive the cars, making the drive worthwhile and ensuring that the demands on the cars are not too onerous. There really is no reason for not having a go.
Great venue and day out - May 2022 Read More
Great place, knowledgeable staff, drove 3 cars, Morris 1300 - my first car, Rolls Royce - always wanted to drive a roller and finally an Austin 7 - this was great fun driving a 80/100 year old car hard work but a great laugh.
Family was 6 adults, parents and grand-parents and 2 young children. Also on the day a Capri was drive by one of the family. Passengers were allowed providing there was room on the back seat.
Also visited the 'Museum' - a car collection of over 100 plus old British cars - I could relate to many of the cars.
Had a hot lunch in the spotless cafe.
All round an enjoyable 4½ hours was had by all.
Will certainly go again - to drive a Robin Reliant ! and .... perhaps the old Landie.
65th birthday treat in 85-year-old gem - May 2022 Read More
I was given the experience as a birthday present and had always wanted to have a drive in an Austin 7. Everything about the session was excellent - the booking, the check-in, the instructor and of course the 1937 car. I had about 20 minutes of fun driving around the extensive 'off road' road network. The car was in remarkable condition for an 85-year-old and was much easier to drive than I had imagined. I was also able to buy the combined video and photograph package, the WeTransfer link to which arrived within a couple of hours. Very highly recommended!
Wonderful interactive nostalgia! - Oct 24 Read More
The experience was a great combination. There was the museum itself with a fantastic display of British cars through the years with a very informative interactive guide. Then there was the opportunity to drive one (or more!) of the wonderful cars with a very helpful and friendly instructor. It was slightly unnerve through the buildings and working environment but that added to the thrill! Plus do not forget the lovely cafe with a choice of foods of which i chose a very tasty sandwich. A great visit and I look forward to visiting again in the future!

This excellent customer service really went above and beyond to make my dads day - August 2022 Read More
We booked the gift package for my dads birthday and he couldn’t have walked away with a bigger smile on his face. It was a great experience! my dad who loves his classic and vintage cars loved driving a number of the cars round the track and my sister and I even managed to squeeze into the back of them as passengers which made the experience even better! We had a slight issue as the in car videos didn’t originally record (human error not technical) which was disappointing as we had hoped to capture the experience. However, Ian was more than happy to suggest we took out another two cars so that we were able to capture the footage and his female colleague was very helpful ensuring that the experience was recorded. This excellent customer service really went above and beyond to make my dads day. Furthermore, my dad was particularly impressed with Paul who had great knowledge of the Austin 7. I would thoroughly recommend this experience to any classic and vintage car enthusiasts. .

The instructor was great, very knowledgeable and happy to chat - August 2024 Read More
Went with 3 friends and we had a fantastic day. The staff are really nice and friendly and it’s very well organised. I drove the Avenger, Rover P4 Minor convertible and Foyles War Wolseley. The instructor was great, very knowledgeable and happy to chat. The museum section has plenty of wonderful cars and is well laid out with lots of information. The cafe is spacious and clean providing nice food and not expensive. Can’t recommend a visit highly enough, we will be going back to try many of the other cars and will be arranging a visit from our club TSSC Shropshire
The route around site is just enough to give a taster of the differences between each of these & modern vehicles - July 2024 Read More
Visited today & drove the Reliant Robin & Minor Million. Great visit, everyone was very friendly & I get the impression everyone enjoys what they do if that makes sense, really gives things a nice feel. The cars themselves also left lasting impressions! the Reliant has to be tried to be believed (must be just short of terrifying out on the road until used to it) & I was instantly smitten with the Minor! The route around site is just enough to give a taster of the differences between each of these & modern vehicles with a few laps each being just right. Thank you to everyone, I'm now trying to figure out how to make space on the drive for a Moggy..
