Even though you might feel a bit of a “plonker” a passenger ride in a Reliant Robin is great fun
The butt of far too many jokes, the Robin was the last in a long line of Reliant Three Wheelers stretching back to the 1930s. Like the Austin Seven, Reliants provided economy transport for thousands of families and up to 2001 you could drive one on a motor -cycle license. Immortalised by Derek Trotter the Reliants were once a popular sight although his was a Regal not a Robin!
Of course Reliant also produced some four wheeled cars of much merit but by the late 90s the Robin , even with its new styling ( Corsa headlights!) , was too expensive and uncomfortable to compete in the market.
This car is also available to drive but if you are too young to drive or just feel more comfortable as a passenger then this 10 minute experience is a great option
