The MG ZS was part of the restyle of the Rover range undertaken by Pete Stevens once the Company was back in private ownership. The restyle was a great success and what had been a slightly staid Rover became a rather fast MG which definitely looked the part. Armed with. 2.5 litre V6 engine, this was a seriously fast car . It’s desirability was increased by participation in the British Touring Car Championship where multiple Champion Colin Tarkington was one of the drivers. Along with the little ZR these cars sold well and are beginning to develop an enthusiastic following.
