Take a passenger ride in this Rootes classic for fresh air for four!
The Sunbeam Rapier was a stalwart of the Rootes range from 1955 to 1967 combining a slightly transatlantic look with a reassuringly British feel. It was surprisingly popular in convertible form allowing the whole family to experience wind in the hair motoring …and a good soaking as the hood was not a simple affair to erect. These cars competed successfully in international rallies allowing Dad to believe that he was at the wheel of something rather special. The Rapier name continues into the 1970s on a daring new fastback coupe.
This car is also available to drive but if you are too young to drive or just feel more comfortable as a passenger then this 10 minute experience is a great option
