Drive The British Austin Styled In Turin
This British family staple of the 1960s marked the high point of badge engineering being available as a Morris Oxford, MG Magnette, Wolseley 16/60 and Riley 4/72. Styled in Turin by Pininfarina ,it also bore more than a passing resemblance to the Peugeot 404 which was also a Pininfarina design, although the British cars did not sell anything like as well as the French ones.
Known as the Farina cars , these BMC products now feel as if they are from another age. Progress is steady rather than rapid but they are comfortable and apart from the ravages of rust, they were built to be a very dependable way to transport the family and plenty of luggage.
