When Jaguar launched the S-Type in the late 1990s, it was part of a bold revival of the brand’s classic saloon formula. Inspired by the original 1960s S-Type, this was Jaguar doing what it had always done best, building a handsome, rear-wheel-drive executive car with real presence.

Under the bonnet sits a smooth 3.0-litre V6, delivering effortless performance and that unmistakable Jaguar refinement. It’s not about shouty speed, although this one is fitted with a nice sounding exhaust.

This is your chance to experience the car that helped redefine Jaguar at the turn of the millennium. Despite its marmite looks, its a rather fabulous car.

How to book your Drives

You will need to book your Drive Dad’s Car experience over the phone by calling 01773 317255.

Please check your email confirmation to see what cars you are eligible to drive : there are three groups of cars : Classic, Premium and Luxury. You need to choose which actual cars you would like to drive so we can confirm availability. We will need your name and voucher number to confirm a booking so if you phone, please have the voucher to hand!

If you do not hold a valid driving license for the UK or simply prefer not to drive then don’t worry you can still get to experience a drive in this car with one of our instructors as a passenger.
