The London Taxi (Austin FX-4) is one of the most recognisable vehicles on the road and by the 1990s the Fairway had become the cab of choice for thousands of drivers across the UK.
Strong, spacious and surprisingly easy to drive, the Fairway was built to handle the demands of city life. This 1996 example features a diesel engine and automatic gearbox, making it smooth and relaxed behind the wheel.
Now a rare sight in service, this is your chance to get behind the wheel of a piece of everyday British motoring history and discover why these cabs earned such legendary status.
