Take a passenger ride in this 25th anniversary edition Mini and see why it is still going string despite the launch of the Metro
The Mini was supposed to be replaced by the Metro but in fact outlived it, celebrating numerous significant anniversaries before Lulu drove the very last one off the Longbridge line in October 2000. To celebrate its 25 th birthday ,3500 special editions were produced in a silver livery (of course) and with bespoke badging and interiors. They had the 998 cc engine so quite a bit more go than an 850 and of course they are quite collectible now that four decades have passed since this birthday.
This car is also available to drive but if you are too young to drive or just feel more comfortable as a passenger then this 10 minute experience is a great option
