The Cooper Sport was the final edition of the legendary Mini Cooper. Cooper were a Formula One World Championship winning race car manufacturer : John Cooper and Alec Issigonis the genius who designed the Mini were friends and when Cooper tuned up a Mini , a deal was struck for BMC to sell a Cooper version. Nobody can have imagined that even now a Cooper version of the BMW Mini would still be available.
Of course the Classic Mini Cooper and Cooper S were the original pocket rockets and success on the track and most famously on the Monte Carlo Rally secured them almost legendary status. The final Coope Sports had multipoint fuel injection but still used the original 1275cc engine . They came with stripes, spotlights and Minilite style wheels and needless to say ,they are very sought after now.
This car is also available to drive but if you are too young to drive or just feel more comfortable as a passenger then this 10 minute experience is a great option
