Take a passenger ride in this quirky wedge shaped sports car for a cool reminder of the 70s
The TR7 deserves a better press. Launched in 1974, it looked bang up to date with a bold wedge shape and a funky interior. Sure, it would be nice with a hood but American legislation was threatening to outlaw soft tops so both TR7 and Jaguar XJS were launched a coupes. Anyway both got full convertible treatment eventually. A bit more go might also have been good but the 2 litre was not a bad engine and you could enhance performance .
Again, industrial relations played their part and Sir Michael Edwardes transferred production from Speke to Coventry as part of his no nonsense strategy. Yes! We like the TR7 and hope you do too!
This car is also available to drive but if you are too young to drive or just feel more comfortable as a passenger then this 10 minute experience is a great option
